Discover the IOAKU Advent Calendar 2026, a Swedish jewellery advent calendar with four pieces, three collections and a reusable interior box.

I have a complicated relationship with Advent calendars.

I love the ritual of opening them in December, but I don't always love ending up with 24 tiny things I probably wouldn't have chosen for myself.

So when I discovered the IOAKU Advent Calendar 2026, the idea immediately felt different.

Instead of 24 small gifts, the Swedish jewellery brand has built its calendar around the four Sundays of Advent: four moments, four pieces of jewellery and a box designed to stay in your home long after Christmas is over.

And I think that's what makes this one interesting.

A different take on the traditional Advent calendar

Most beauty and jewellery Advent calendars are built around quantity.

IOAKU has gone in the opposite direction.

The 2026 calendar contains four jewellery surprises, with one to open on each Sunday of Advent. Rather than filling a calendar with smaller extras just to reach 24 doors, the focus is on creating a matching jewellery collection you can continue wearing after December.

It's a much simpler concept, but personally, I prefer it.

There's still the anticipation of opening something new throughout Advent without the feeling that Christmas has suddenly added 24 more products to your home.

What's inside the IOAKU Advent Calendar 2026?

There are three different jewellery collections to choose from this year:

Scala V Pear Crystal

The cleanest and probably the most graphic of the three.

This collection combines a sculptural V-shape with pear-cut crystal details. The calendar includes a necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings.

If your jewellery collection leans more modern than romantic, this is the one I'd look at first.

Pearl Constellation

This is the softer option.

Pearls and crystals are arranged into small constellation-inspired details, creating something feminine without feeling overly traditional.

Unlike the other two calendars, Pearl Constellation contains a necklace, bracelet and two different pairs of earrings — studs and drop earrings.

Frosted Fleur

Definitely the statement option.

Frosted Fleur takes IOAKU's floral design and gives it a winter version with crystal details across the petals.

Inside you'll find a necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings.

It's the collection I'd choose if jewellery is usually the part of your outfit that does the talking.

All three calendars are available in gold or silver, so you can choose the finish you actually wear rather than leaving that part of the surprise to chance.

The box might be my favourite part

One detail I really appreciate is that the packaging wasn't designed to become rubbish on December 25.

The jewellery comes inside a silver-grey, velvet-lined interior box with metal details. Inside are four numbered black pockets containing the jewellery for each Advent Sunday.

Once December is over, the calendar becomes jewellery storage.

It sounds like a small detail, but it's exactly the kind of thing I wish more seasonal products considered.

If something beautiful is going to take up space in my home for a month, I'd much rather be able to keep using it afterwards.

Is four pieces enough for an Advent calendar?

This is probably the biggest difference between this calendar and most others you'll find online.

There are only four jewellery surprises.

And whether that's a positive or negative really depends on what you want from an Advent calendar.

If the fun for you is opening something every morning from December 1 to 24, this probably isn't the right format.

But if you'd rather receive four pieces designed to work together instead of lots of smaller fillers, the four-Sunday concept makes much more sense.

I also like that it follows the actual Advent Sundays rather than simply becoming another December countdown.

What are the pieces made from?

The materials vary depending on the collection and design.

Some pieces use stainless steel, including PVD-plated 18K gold versions, while others are made from brass with gold or silver plating.

That distinction is worth checking before choosing your calendar, particularly if water resistance matters to you.

For example, some stainless-steel pieces are water-resistant, while the brass jewellery should be removed before showering or swimming and kept away from direct contact with perfume.

I always think details like this are worth reading before buying jewellery — especially when you're choosing something you expect to wear beyond one season.

How much is the IOAKU Advent Calendar 2026?

At the time of writing, the IOAKU Advent Calendar 2026 is priced at 1,199 SEK, while IOAKU lists the regular combined value of the jewellery and box as 3,595 SEK.

Because this is a limited-edition seasonal release, prices and availability can change, so I'd check the current information directly before deciding.

There's also a little extra with my calendar

This year I also have my own IOAKU code: NAYARA

When you order the Advent Calendar using my code, the 31 Days of Confidence card deck is automatically included as an extra gift while stocks last.

It's a deck of 31 affirmation cards in English — essentially one for every day of the month.

I like that it connects with the idea behind the calendar without adding another random product just for the sake of having a bonus.

Who would I recommend it to?

I wouldn't choose this calendar simply because you want an Advent calendar.

I'd look at it if you already enjoy jewellery and would realistically wear the pieces afterwards.

It could make sense if:

  • you prefer fewer, more intentional Advent gifts

  • you wear matching jewellery sets

  • you like Scandinavian jewellery brands

  • you want to choose between gold and silver

  • reusable packaging matters to you

  • you're looking for a Christmas gift that extends beyond December

And because there are three very different collections, it doesn't feel like there's one aesthetic you're forced into.

My favourite thing about it

For me, the most interesting part isn't actually having four surprises.

It's what happens after the fourth one.

You finish December with a coordinated jewellery collection and a box that can stay on your dresser instead of another empty Advent calendar heading for recycling.

Christmas products are temporary by nature. I like when their design doesn't have to be.

And that's probably the easiest way to describe the IOAKU Advent Calendar 2026:

an Advent calendar designed with December in mind, but not designed to end there.

Worth knowing: I received the IOAKU Advent Calendar as a gift from the brand, with no requirement to publish this article. My code NAYARA gives eligible Advent Calendar orders the 31 Days of Confidence deck as a bonus gift while stocks last. This post may contain tracked or affiliate links.
